is the level of difficulty of the spoken material?
It is difficult to say how many years of language study people
need in order to be able to follow authentic speech. It really
depends on the individual. The program is not designed for beginners;
in general, you need to have some experience with the spoken
language and a reasonable grasp of the grammar. The conversation
on the programs varies in speed and difficulty with the speakers.
While some of the speech may be daunting, other program segments
are easier to follow. There is, in any event, a complete word-for-word
transcript and extensive glossary that comes with each program.
